Tumalo Falls Ski + Snowshoe Trail
This fido-friendly snowshoe trails leads you to a stunning view of the 89-foot Tumalo Falls with the option to continue further on to Tumalo Creek. From the parking lot, the 2.5-mile trail along Tumalo Falls Road will wind you through a glaciated valley filled with majestic ponderosa pines. For a less trafficked hike, park at Skyliner Sno-park (0.4 miles back down Skyliner Road) and follow a small trail on the south sides of Tumalo Creek.
Paulina Creek & Falls Loop Trail
Snowmobilers and snowshoers are attracted to this trail for its beautiful waterfalls and clear blue skies. The out and back trail boasts breathtaking views of Paulina Lake, Paulina Creek and Paulina Falls. Please note that access to the falls and trails need to be reached via ski, snowshoe, or snowmobile, as the roads are only maintained as far as Ten Mile Sno-Park.
Wanoga Sno-Park
This dog-friendly sno-park offers miles of groomed and ungroomed trails. Bring a picnic lunch and a thermos of hot apple cider or hot chocolate to enjoy in their large warming hut with a wood stove.
Mt. Bachelor’s Nordic Center
Enjoy stunning alpine views as you explore 10 km of signed and groomed snowshoe trails through the Deschutes National Forest. Daily trail tickets, Nordic private lessons, rentals, and more are now open for online booking.
