You may know that Depoe Bay is called the Whale Capital for its resident gray whales who live year-round along this magnificent stretch of coast. Why not stay where you are most likely to catch a glimpse of these giants, as well as scores of seabirds and boats galore? Whaler’s Rest is a single-level, clifftop oceanfront condo with stellar ocean views and outdoor seating for enjoying ocean breezes and spectacular sunsets.

You can swivel the living room chairs inwards for gatherings around the TV, or turn them back to the windows for magnetic views of the sea, our relax in the spacious bay window that is also perfect for whale watching. A dining area and fully-equipped, updated kitchen with granite countertops give you the option to cook during your stay, or take the concrete walkway into town for seafood at Tidal Raves or chowder at Gracie’s Sea Hag. Whaler’s Rest is perfect for a romantic weekend or a vacation with another couple—both bedrooms have their own TVs and baths, so there’s plenty of space and privacy for up to four people. You can easily drive 20 minutes north to Lincoln City or 20 minutes south to Newport’s Bayfront, but there’s plenty of activity in Depoe Bay, with its scenic seawall, entertaining line of shops and its tiny harbor, where you can catch a whale-watching or fishing trip. Come enjoy a front-row seat to the thunder of surf and magic of the western sky in this well-equipped oceanfront condo!
